Half Slotted Container
The Half Slotted Container (HSC) is a versatile and efficient packaging solution featuring an open top with flaps only on the bottom for easy access and packing. It is ideal for applications requiring frequent loading and unloading, such as storage, retail displays, and shipping. HSC boxes are durable and lightweight, offering reliable protection for products while minimizing material use. They are commonly used in industries like retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing and can be customized in size, printing, and material grade to meet specific needs.
The custom Half Slotted Container (HSC) is efficient, durable, and highly versatile — offering many different applications for storing and transporting.
Bottom flaps with uniform length meet at the center of the box when folded, while absent top flaps leave the top of the box uncovered. HSCs are often used for quick transport within manufacturing plants, as storage bins, or in combination with a Design Style Tray to function as a lidded box.

Standard Material Options
- Standard White Standard White is the everyday white corrugated material used for custom packaging. Standard White has a slight variation in the whiteness if you look closely. This standard grade has white outside liners and kraft flute.
- Premium White Premium White is made with a clay-coated heavy outer liner paper for a more high-end look compared to Standard White. Our Premium paper option is white, both inside and out. You can expect fantastic results with either grade. However, Premium White subtly enhances the end result.
- Premium White with a Gloss Ink Finish Premium White with a Gloss Ink Finish is a process where ink is cured to appear glossier than a traditional matte finish. It is only available on Premium White. Make your artwork pop with this material option. Please note that there will be no gloss effect in any place that does not have ink in your artwork.
- Kraft Kraft material brings a natural and organic look to your custom packaging, making it a popular option for sustainable-focused brands. Color printed on kraft board looks different than color printed on regular white or premium white board.

Adding Artwork to Your Custom Boxes
You have two options for adding artwork to your custom boxes: using our online editor tool, Art Studio, or adding your artwork via dieline using Adobe Illustrator.
Art Studio
- If you do not have artwork for your order or design experience, you can use our free editor tool, Art Studio, to create your design online.
- To use Art Studio, click DESIGN ONLINE and then follow the checkout process from there.

Adobe Illustrator
- If you plan on adding your artwork via dieline using Adobe Illustrator, click the Add to Cart from the product page, and proceed with checkout.
- You will receive your unique PDF dieline by email within 10 minutes after your order is placed.
- Apply artwork on this dieline offline using Adobe Illustrator and create your artwork in CMYK layers.
- Upload it to your order in your Fantastapack Admin panel, and you're good to go.

Sample Orders
A sample order is an order with a quantity of 1 to 4. Sample orders are produced in 3-5 business days, which is much faster than a production order or even a rush order.
Getting a sample order is a great way to confirm that your dimensions are correct, your product truly fits, or to ensure your custom artwork is pixel-perfect before placing a full production order.
How to Place a Custom Packaging Sample Order
Simply follow the same steps as placing a full production order, but limit your order quantity to 4 boxes or less:

- Check the print option you require
- Enter your quantity of 1-4 boxes
- Proceed with the checkout process
